Ronnie Mode, Sr., age 54, of Forest City, died Monday, January 8, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland.
Born October 11, 1963 in Rutherford County, he is the son of Ray Mode who resides in Forest City and the late Colleen Grant Mode. He worked as a truck driver for Latco Concrete Company for many years and attended the Caroleen Congregational Holiness Church. Ronnie enjoyed collecting antiques and going to flea markets, but most of all loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Ronnie Mode, Jr. and wife, Jessica of Mooresboro and Stephen Mode and wife, Heather of Ellenboro; his life companion, Brandy Mode and her daughter, Olivia Lowery of Forest City; two sisters, Arlene Taylor of Ellenboro and Sheila Bradley and husband, Dennis of Caroleen. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Jordan, Makinzie, Madison, Ashlyn, Hannah and Kelsey Mode.
The funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Dwayne Scruggs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
