Cherryville - Mr. Ronnie Steve Adams, 78, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Atrium Health - Lincoln.

Ronnie was born on February 6, 1942 in Gaston County, NC a son of the late Lee Landy Adams and Ethel Hallman Adams. He retired as a dockworker from Carolina Freight Carriers Corporation and also worked for the City of Cherryville in the Parks and Recreation department. Ronnie served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Jeff Adams of Lincolnton; two daughters, Kim Conley and husband Rodney of Boiling Springs and Ashley King (Chris) of High Point; three sisters, Frankie Mace of Maiden; Nancy Hillard of Salisbury and Debbie Houk of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Caleb Adams (Tiffany), Jessica Adams, Austin Conley, Hannah Conley and Hurley Rich; a special friend and companion, Joette Ford; a bonus son, James Ford and a bonus grandson Sam Ford all of Cherryville.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
