ROSA LEE HENDERSON DYKE

Cowpens -- Rosa Lee Henderson Dyke, 100, of 241 Cemetery Road, passed away Friday, August 18th, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of James Grady Dyke and the daughter of the late John "JT" Henderson and Lula Parris Henderson. Mrs. Dyke worked in textiles and was a member of Kirby Memorial Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, Class of 1934.

Mrs. Dyke is survived by two granddaughters, Jenny Lynne Brown and husband, David, of Spartanburg and Sue Ann Robinette and husband, Brian, of Wellford; one brother, Donald Henderson; seven great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Johnny Dyke and Harold Dyke, her sisters, Janelle H. Lanier, Jessie Scruggs, and May Sue Henderson, and her brothers, James Arthur Henderson, Walter Dean Henderson and Fred Henderson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney, 211 East Frederick Street, Gaffney, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel. Interment will follow at Fredcerick Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at their respective residences.
