Rosa Lee Tessneer, age, 73, died Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Hospice of Cleveland County. Born January 2, 1944 she was the daughter of the late William and Lela Nettles. In addition to her parents Rosa is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Rosa Lee is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Earnest Tessneer, and daughters Debbie Eaker and husband Ty of Shelby and Tammy Phillips and husband Allen of Mooresboro, four step children, two sisters, loving nieces, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, with Rev. Gary Marburger and Homer Tessneer officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. and other times at the home of Debbie Eaker. Burial will follow in Elliott Memorial Cemetery.
