Rosella Gilland Mitchell, age 73, peacefully passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby.

Rosella was born in Cleveland County on December 18, 1949. She was the beloved daughter of the late Howard Lee Warren & Pansy William Gilland.

Rosella and her husband moved to Kings Mountain in September 2001, where they both enjoyed spending time together and traveling. Her career spanned decades working for Philip Lighting, General Electric and Lockheed Martin.

Rosella is survived by her husband of 24 years, Scott Edward Mitchell. She also leaves behind a step brother, Daniel Duncan and his wife, Cathy.

The family will celebrate the life of Mrs. Rosella Mitchell privately.
