Roxanna Beam Carpenter

Kings Mountain - Mrs. Roxanna Beam Carpenter, 58, passed away January 21, 2018.

Roxanna was born January 7, 1960 to Donald Brinkley Beam and the late Mary Grace Sellers Beam. She was married to Ray Dean Carpenter, a wonderful husband and caregiver for many years. Later in life, she earned a degree in Health Care Management from Gardner-Webb University. Roxanna was talented in nearly every endeavor she attempted, and in particular was a wonderful artist. Roxanna had an ability to make everything beautiful, and expressed herself through painting, pottery, jewelry-making and owning her own floral shop, Blooming Things, in Cherryville for many years. Roxanna enjoyed traveling with her husband, and loved both the beach and the mountains, especially revisiting Boone.

Roxanna is survived by her husband, Ray Dean Carpenter; son Travis Ingle and wife, Rachel Ingle; father, Donald Brinkley Beam; brother Donald Beam Jr. and his wife, Judy; brother Gary Beam and wife, Vickie; and nieces and nephews, Will Beam and wife, Ashley, Tyler Beam and wife, Kortney, Lacey Beam, and Brittany Beam.
