Roy Lee Cape, 88 of Corinth Church Road, Casar passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025 at College Pines Health and Rehabilitation.

Born on November 4, 1936, in Iredell County, NC, he was the son of the late Stuart Cape and Nancy Laws Cape. Roy was retired from Union Underwear and St. Michael's Catholic Church and School. He attended Corinth Baptist Church. He had a love for farming and growing things.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Riddle Cape and brother, William Wade Cape.

A family man through and through, Roy was the loving patriarch to a family that adored him. He is survived by his son, Mike Cape and his wife, Dawn; his two grandsons, Jared Cape and his wife, Robin, and Jordan Cape and his wife, Amy, all of Casar; and his six great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Savannah, Roxy, Bree, Madison, and Gage. Roy's legacy of love and strength lives on in them, and they will carry forward the values he instilled in each of them.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Norris Willis officiating.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
