Ruby Jean Barrett Pearson, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 13, 2025 while at VIA Healthcare Partners - Wendover Hospice.

She was born in Cleveland County to the late Marvin Arrowood and Jean Barrett Arrowood. She is also predeceased by brother, Robert Arrowood.

Left to cherish her memory are her spouse of 53 years, Jerry Pearson of the home; son, Shawn Pearson (Jayda Southards); daughters, Linda Pearson (Bobby Barr) and Angie Parker (Tony Parker); grandchildren, Seth Pearson, Ellora Pearson, Chris Parker, Austin Parker, Alexis Myers, Landon Hendrick, and Carter Bryant; brother, Jeff Arrowood; sisters, Janet Arrowood and Kelly Ledford.

Ruby was a devoted and loving mother. She loved to turn on the radio and listen to music. She loved Elvis Presley. She loved lighthouses and she enjoyed cooking.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC, 132 East College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152.
