GROVER - Ruby P. Wright, 89, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at her home. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie H. and Cordie Parker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wright Sr.; a son, Billy Ray Wright; and a sister, Maybelle Farris.

Survivors include her sons, James Wright Jr. and Steven Wright (Maria); daughters, Mary Morrison and Betty McKee (Gene); 15 grandchildren, Carla, Jimmy, David, Donnie, Tammy, Chrissy, Travis, Dean, Donna, Johnny, Jimmy, Little K, Oskar, Mia and Xavier; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, at New Camp Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Leo Kurkendial officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lutz-Austell Funeral Home.
