| Mrs. Ruby Packard, 95, of Shelby was received by her Lord Jesus Christ on May 14, 2012. Services were held at Double Springs Church. Burial followed in the Church Cemetary.
Mrs. Packard was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years, Marion M. Packard; her parents Thomas Crawford Matheny, Sr. & Sarah Jones Matheny; a son, Steven M. Packard and an infant daughter.
She is survived by three sons, Vick Packard & wife, Sandy of Shelby, Frank Packard & wife, Kathy of Todd, and Ed Packard of Shelby; daughter-in-law, Carol Packard of Shelby; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
