Ruth Ellen Rumfelt Ruppe age 96 of Bennett Street went home to be with The Lord on Thursday, December 13, 2018 while being cared for at Holly Springs Retirement Home. A native of Rutherford County she is the widow of Arthur Ruppe, a homemaker and member of Fellowship Holiness Church in Spindale, NC.

She is survived by one son Johnny Ruppe, grandson Scott Bradford, granddaughter Cindy Bowlin, grandson Brian Bowlin and wife Heather, great granddaughter Madelyn Bowlin as well as a number of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents John and Lula Ella Freeman Rumfelt, a number of siblings and two daughters Judy Bradford and Frances Bowlin.

A celebration of life will be held 3 P.M. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Fellowship Holiness Church 301 Deviney Street, Spindale NC 28160 with Rev. Leon Brown and Rev. Brian Bowlin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Spindale City Cemetery.
