SA Beaver, Jr.

SA Beaver, Jr., 88, of Polkville, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at White Oak Manor, Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, on May 3, 1932, he was the son of the late Summie Alonzo Beaver, Sr. and Annie Edmondson Beaver. He was retired from the NC DOT and attended Big Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Juanita Martin Beaver and a sister, Betty Carter.

He is survived by two sons, Carroll Beaver and Annette of Lawndale and Dennis Beaver and wife Mandy of Casar; daughter, Angie Hoyle and husband Brad of Polkville; a sister, Shirley Grier of Polkville; nine grandchildren, Dillon Beaver and wife Brandi, Victoria Queen and husband Jeremy; Savannah Beaver, Bethany Beaver, Lainey Beaver, Nolan Beaver, Tucker Hoyle, Cade Hoyle, and Hagan Hoyle; five great grandchildren, Dylan Beaver, Peyton Beaver, Piper Queen, Karson Queen and Kendyl Queen.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Big Springs Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Polkville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Scott officiating.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
