Sally Jean Kimbrell, 65, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on April 24, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Cherokee Falls, SC, daughter of the late Roy Gill and Geneva Cothran Broome and was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Whiten.

Sally was a retired LPN and a former insurance agent. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of God and loved attending church and reading her Bible. Sally earned her PhD in Biblical Studies from Heaven's Avenue Baptist University. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Sally will be missed greatly by her loving family and friends.

Christy Jones Forney (Rob), Mooresville, NC. Stepchildren: Jamie Kimbrell, East Bend, NC, Richard Kimbrell (Elaine), Mocksville, NC and Marie Cook (Carlos), Turkeyfoot, NC. Sister: Barbara McConnell, Columbia, SC. Grandchildren: Madison Michelle and Mackenzie Jordan Ramsey, Anthony Tyler and Dominic Evan Forney. Step Grandchildren: Tyler, Hunter, Richard and Christopher Kimbrell and Anna and Nathan Warzen. Four Great-Grandchildren and four Nieces and Nephews.
