Sandra Lynn Messenger, 76, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on May 24,2019 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Warren, PA, to the late Robert Emett Lynn and Mildred Lucille Kifer Lynn. Sandy was a faithful Christian of the Baptist faith. She retired from Kings Mountain High School with more than 15 years of service as a teaching assistant, where she assisted students with Autism. Sandy loved caring for other people and spent time volunteering at a mental hospital and fostering children throughout her life. She cared deeply for animals and was well known for taking on stray animals. Sandy loved her family and enjoyed hosting family gatherings and spending time with her loved ones. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.

Daughter: Jody Hamm and husband Jeff, Kings Mountain, NC

Brothers: Gary Lynn and wife Dawn, Frewsburg, NY, Doug Lynn and wife Nancy, Greenville, SC and Chuck Lynn and wife Terri, Jamestown, NY

Sisters: Diane Filegar, Ormond Beach, FL and Jeannie Clucas and husband Jack, Kings Mountain, NC

Grandsons: Kieffer Hamm, Dallas, NC, Kolton Hamm, Dillon Messenger and Dalton Messenger, Kings Mountain

Granddaughter: Whitney Wiker and husband Mitch, Kings Mountain, NC

Great Grandchildren: Tyler and Hunter Wiker, Kings Mountain, NC

Numerous nieces and nephews.
