Mrs. Sarah Mull Woods, 76, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Willow Ridge in Rutherfordton.

Sarah was born on February 14, 1948 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of the late James Franklin Mull and Ruby Hoyle Mull. She was retired from Fasco in Shelby and was also a former beautician. Sarah was a member of St. Paul Church in Shelby where she was a former choir member. She also loved her garden and flowers. Sarah had a special love for her neighbors.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Eric Scott Woods, Sr.; second husband, Harry Carroll; a sister, Judy Mull and a brother James Thomas Mull.

Survivors include a son, Eric Scott Woods, Jr. of Waco; a daughter, Jamie Carroll and husband Gary of Cherryville; grandchildren, John and Lee Carroll, Ethan, Ensley, and Savannah Woods. Also surviving is her aunt, Lois Hoyle of Cherryville and her faithful and beloved dog Sam.

The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Friday, January 17, 2025 at St. Paul Church in Shelby and at other times the family will be at the home of Jamie and Gary Carroll, 415 Paul H. Beam Road, Cherryville, NC 28021.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, January 17, 2025 at St. Paul Church with the Rev. Randy Heffner officiating.

Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
