Saralyn Head Daves, 79, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain.

She was the wife of the late Glenn Daves, she is survived by one son; Duane Daves and wife Melinda of Hickory, NC, one daughter, Missy Ware and husband Gary of Shelby; one brother, Leon Head and wife Judy of Temple, Georgia; four granddaughters, Julia Page and husband Devin, Bradley Collins and husband Will, Mallory Ware and Carmen Ware; three great grandchildren, Allyson Page, Jackson Page, and Elijah Collins. Other survivors include two sister-in-laws, Frances Horne and Karen Head, also a number of nieces and nephews.

Born in Cleveland County on December 24, 1942, Mrs. Daves was the daughter of the late Glenn and Margaret Lovelace Head; also preceded in death by three siblings, Beatty Head, Peggy Jones, and Phillip Head. She was a long-time member of Trinty Baptist Church, where she served in many roles over the years.

To serve the family and honor Mrs. Daves, Josh Head, Bill Daves, Devin Page, Will Collins, Wayne Horne, and Jackson Page will serve as Pallbearers.

A Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022, 3pm at Trinity Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Mike Frazier. Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately after the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2pm at the church.
