Shannon Lankford Aguilar, 46, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.

Shannon was born on May 16, 1975 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of the late Rick Lankford and Susan Thrift Lankford. She was a 1993 graduate of Cherryville High School and also attended Gaston College. Shannon loved her family and enjoyed traveling. She was the co-owner of Mac's Grill in Cherryville. Shannon was a very gracious, kind and giving person who had a passion for helping others and the community.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Hernan Aguilar; a daughter, Mackenzie Aguilar both of the home and a brother, Bryan Lankford of Shelby. She is also survived by her family at Mac's Grill and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Cherryville with Dr. Vince Hefner officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service.

Burial will be private.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
