Sharon Eloise Byers, age 73, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 11, 2018.
She was born September 17, 1944 in Rutherford County and previously resided in Boiling Springs, NC.
She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lucille Byers and was preceded in death by three infant sisters. She is survived by brothers, Lloyd Junior Byers and wife Tita of Shelby, Herman Byers and wife Barbara of Shelby, and sister Mil Willis and husband Ron of Boiling Springs.
Eloise was a member of Hicks Grove Baptist Church in Mooresboro where she taught Sunday school and was active on several committees. Although she had no children of her own, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who were the apples of her eye and whom she cherished and adored.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Hicks Grove Baptist Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
