Cherryville - Mrs. Sharon K. Stevens, 76, of Shelby Hwy., passed away on
Friday, July 5, 2019 at Atrium Health in Shelby.

Sharon was born on July 31, 1942 in Delphos, Ohio a daughter of the late
William Brittingham and Angelia "Judy" Cattell Brittingham. She was a
homemaker and member of Covenant Bible Church in Lincolnton and also active
in a Women's prayer group each week. Sharon took great pride in caring for
her husband and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Stevens
and a sister, Judy Levy.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Larry J. Stevens of the home; two
daughters, Terri Sanders and husband Greg of Starr, SC; Jennifer Spalding
and husband Jamie of Acworth, Georgia; a brother, Jeffrey Stevens and wife
Nancy of Elmo, SC; four grandchildren, Courtney and Cody Ott, Christian and
Hanna Spalding; and one sister, Billie Jo Himmeger of Powell, Ohio.

Visitation will be from 10:45AM to 11:45AM on Friday, July 12, 2019 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, July 12, 2019 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Devine officiating.

Burial will be private.
