Sheila Margaretha de Brock Sengir, age 72, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at her residence in Shelby. Born in Den Haag, Holland on July 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Edouard Guillaume de Brock and Elisabeth Regina van de Linde de Brock.

In 1956, she and her family immigrated to Arizona and soon after, moved to California, where she graduated from Fremont High School in 1969. Sheila went on to earn her certification from Mannes School of Design for computer chip design and devoted 36 years to circuit integration. In 1993 she moved to Shelby after a successful career, then retired in 2006. Sheila was big hearted, vibrant, and had a zest for life. She accepted everyone with an open heart, open arms, a perpetual smile and was dedicated to giving to others. Sheila had immense passion for her family, work, and was loved by all who knew her.

Sheila is survived by life-long partner, Mike Sengir, loving companion, Lorell E. Dunlap, and a brother, Ed de Brock, his wife, Deb, and their son, Eddie de Brock of Nevada. Also left to cherish her memory is cousin, Astrid de Brock and her significant other, Frank of Holland.
