| Shelby City Park’s Midget Basketball Is Underway! |

The 2011 Midget Basketball League is up and running. The tip-off was December 28th and the season will go through Thursday, February 10th. Games are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Shelby City Park gymnasium at 6 and 7 p.m. This year there are four teams: FOP, Shelby Hardware, Teddy-Meekins and AmVets. We visited a practice session where the Teddy-Meekins and AmVets teams were getting ready for the next game. Teddy-Meekins has a record of 1-1 and AmVets, 2-0.
