Shelby Lions Club Gives Food To 6,529
The  Shelby  Lions  Club  reports  giving  food  to 6,529 individuals   during  the  Spring  Quarter  Surplus  Food Distribution,  held  June  6th  through  8th at  Cleveland  County  Fairgrounds. Lions Club members, community volunteers,  and  workers  hired  from  the  homeless shelter  braved 90 degree  heat  to  pass  out  126,515 pounds  of  commodities   valued  at  $67,769.
