Shelby Lions Club News...
Scholarship contenders: left to right: Christina Alexander, Dante Murphy, and Taleya Durham.
 The Shelby Lions Club recognized the first three of six scholarship candidates at its meeting Tuesday, January 8th. Christina Alexander, Dante Murphy, and Taleya Durham are all seniors at Shelby High. In addition, the  Lions recognized  Jada Archie of the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland County as winner of the Peace Poster Contest. All of the young people were accompanied by parents. Also, the Lions inducted Tara Smith as a new member.
