Sherri Ruff Crawford, age 57, of Island Ford Road, Forest City, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born November 25, 1960 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late William Ruff, Jr. and Loretta Hudgins Ruff Phillips. She worked for several local textile mills and most recently as the manager of the Murphy USA gas station. Sherri loved her family and was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister and caretaker. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Amy Stanley and fiancé, Randall Davidson of Mooresboro and Amanda Bradley and fiancé, Joseph Earley of Forest City; four sisters, Sandi Thomas and husband, Jimmy of Cliffside, Linda Sprouse and husband, Mike of Forest City, Angel Maxwell and husband, Wayne of Forest City and Edith Ellis and husband, Donald of Laurens, SC; three brothers, Mike Ruff and wife, Lynn of Forest City, Marty Ruff of Forest City and Brian Ruff and wife, Jenny of Shelby. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Stephen Emery (Lavonne Warren), Katie Bradley, Adam Bradley, Adrianna Bradley, Rebecca Devens, Melanie Stanley, Marina Ruff, Skye Ruff and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In honor of Sherri's wishes, no formal services will be conducted.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
