Shelby American Legion Auxiliary Unit 82 is partnering with the Cleveland Mall Belk store for a very special event on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 5 - 9 p.m. Belk will donate 10% of its' sales during the four-hour event to the local Auxiliary to use in their Cleveland County activities benefiting veterans. Also benefiting will be Veterans diagnosed with PTSD, and who are being treated at the four VA Hospitals in North Carolina. There will be free refreshments, music, door prizes, kids activities, and great pricing throughout the store. Participating shoppers can not only score awesome bargains, but each purchase will count toward but helping our deserving Veterans. It's a WIN-WIN situation!
Auxiliary Unit 82 members will have a booth at the American Legion World Series to help promote the event, and answer any questions.
Please look for the Auxiliary ladies in their royal blue vests - they'll be happy to assist you with American Legion World Series questions, and provide information about their special Sunday evening event.
