Small Business Seminar in Lawndale April 18

The Small Business Center at Cleveland Community College is increasing the number of its offerings. In addition to the regularly scheduled, free seminars held at the LeGrand Center on Thursday evenings, the Small Business Center is hosting programs in different areas of the county.
On Monday, April 18, 2016, a seminar about using social media in business will be held at the Lawndale Community Center, from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. "We want to give all Cleveland County entrepreneurs and business owners an opportunity to improve their potential for success," said Steve Padgett, Director of the Small Business Center.
Being part of the online business community is critical today. A small business owner can use their online knowledge to grow their business and take it to the next level. This seminar will provide tips and tactics to use social media wisely and productively. You will learn the basics of using a Facebook business page, as well as information on the importance of advertising on social media. Topics include:
• Social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+
• 6 steps for creating a social media plan
• Budgeting for social media
• Get product/service feedback
• Use social media for customer service, lead generation, promotions, and networking
