Stanley Martin Howard, 79, of Lawndale, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.

Stanley was born on January 22, 1947, in Buncombe County and was the son of the late Murrell Edward Howard and Lillian Artilla Worsham Howard. Stanley was retired from Rutherford Electric Membership Corporation where he worked for 34 years.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Ramsey Howard; his daughter, Crystal Howard Reavis and husband Bill of Lawndale; his granddaughter, Cyndal Bandy and husband Andy; two sisters, Janet Howard Cooke of Lawndale and her sons, Kelly Cooke and Stacy Cooke and his children, Callie Cooke and Cooper Cooke and Phyllis Howard McIntyre and husband Daniel of Vero Beach, FL and their daughter, Katie Gringrich and husband, Chris.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 2:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston.
