Steven "Steve" Mullinax, 75, of 208 Lancaster Drive, passed away on Monday, March 25th, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the widower of Gail Hampton Mullinax and the son of the late Rev. Robert and Mildred Bagwell Mullinax. Steve retired as plant manager of Weavtec. After retirement, he was employed at Gordon Mortuary. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Blacksburg and was a veteran of the US Army.

Surviving Mr. Mullinax are his sons, Kiley Mullinax (Melissa) and Jacob Mullinax (Becca); his daughter, Stephanie Miller (Owen); his siblings, Eddie Mullinax, Jackie Queen, and Kathy Williams; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and his parents, Mr. Mullinax was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Mullinax of St. Stephens, SC.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. Eric Sellers, Rev. Jacob Mullinax, Rev. Jeff Williams, Rev. Jody McGaha, and Rev. Cogan East officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Cody Mullinax, Clayton Childers, Cecil Bell, Terry Ziegler, Jason Martin, Danny Ham Sr., Derek Ham, Brian Mullinax, and Noah Mullinax will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence.
