Sudie Webber receives recognition from Carolina Panthers

This is Mrs. Sudie Webber. She is an incredible lady! At 99 years old, she continues to have a gentle spirit, kind eyes and quick wit. Sudie has spent the past 99 years devoting herself to her family, community, and church. Her children will tell you she always had a meal on the table, and always had time to help with grandchildren. She is the matriarch of her family, the eldest member of Washington Missionary Baptist Church, and still holds the secret recipe for the best candied yams.
Now Sudie is being served by Hospice Cleveland County, and has her family by her side. She spends most of her day napping and visiting with family, but one thing Sudie never sleeps through is Panthers football! Recently, Sudie was recognized for her loyalty by the Panthers organization. With a letter from Coach Ron Rivera, the Panthers showered Sudie with Panthers swag. We think she wears it well!! Congratulations Sudie!
