KINGS MOUNTAIN - Sylvia Annette Green Willis, 83, of Kings Mountain passed away on Tuesday, December 07, 2021 at Cleveland County Hospice of Wendover. She was born on January 06, 1938 in Alabama to the late Earl and Vincie Hendrix Green. She is also predeceased by two daughters, Teresa Capell and Renae Capell; grandchild, Delana Adams; nine brothers and sisters.

Sylvia leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, George Willis; daughter, Sheryl McBride; eight grandchildren, Keith Faulk, Kim Long, Kevin Faulk, Tonya Voorheis, Derek Blackmon, Kristin Blackmon, Josh Capell and Rikki Johnson; seven great-grandchildren, Christiana Tejeda, Antonio Tejeda, Dashayla Capell, Alaysia Adams, Briana Minor, Neveah Adams and Ava Capell.

Sylvia loved God and actively sang in church. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and had loved her fur babies Kasey, Beau and Jazmine. For the majority of her life she was a truck driver. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, 618 Chestnut Ridge Church Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 with Rev. Leo Kuykendall officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service. Internment immediately following the service at Grover Cemetery, Grover, NC.
