Sylvia Lee Story Hoyle, 99 of 709 Pine Hill Road, Boone passed away,
Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Chestnut Ridge.

Born May 2, 1917 in Watauga County, she was a daughter of the late Monroe
Story and Nelia Greene Story. She was retired from Shadowline as a
seamstress and attended Fallston Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded death by her husband, William
Hoyle and a daughter, Jeanette Hoyle.

Survivors include a son, Billy Hoyle and wife, Isabel of Blowing Rock; a
daughter, Gwendolyn Gail Dorfman and husband, Alectron of Cross Hill, SC;
four grandchildren, Nevada Jones, Nicole Hoyle, Jessica Hoyle and Isabella
Hoyle; seven great-grandchildren, John Paul Jones, Elijah Jones, Salem
Jones, Luke Jones, Leah Jones, Abigail Jones and Waylon Stout.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral

A funeral service will be 1:30 PM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. David Blanton officiating.

Burial will follow in Fallston Baptist Church Cemetery.
