Tabitha D. Owensby, age 31, of Mill Spring, NC, died Friday, October 19, 2012 at her residence.
Tabitha was born November 6, 1980 in Cleveland County, NC. She is the daughter of Robert Branch and Mickey West Branch who reside in Rutherfordton. Tabitha worked in textiles for several years and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Mill Spring. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter and family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. Bobby and Jennie West and her great grandmother, Cecil West.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Adam Owensby; one daughter, Macy Owensby; one brother, Frank Branch III of Rutherfordton; grandparents, Bobby and Jean Williams of Forest City and grandfather, Frank Branch, Sr. also of Forest City. She is also survived by three uncles, David Branch, Scott Branch and Roger West.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Faith Baptist Church of Mill Spring with Reverend Tim Gouge officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at 30 Phillip Henderson Road, Rutherfordton.
