Tamatha Denise Parker Pickett, 46 of 419 Oakland Dr. Shelby, NC passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. She was born on June 4, 1974 in Cleveland County, NC to Shirley Black Banks and the late James Roosevelt Parker, Jr.

Tamatha graduated from Shelby High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and hosting family gatherings. She also enjoyed Bingo and spending time her two grandchildren, gardening and expanding her collection of elephant ear plants.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eli and Geneva Black and James Parker, Sr. and Rose Parker and sisters, Tiara Ross, Siara Ross and Kiara Ross.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her husband, Isaac Pickett, Sr. of Shelby, NC; her mother, Shirley Banks (Charles) also of Shelby; a daughter, Kimberly Parker (Montavious) of Shelby; six sons, Tyrone Parker, Antwone Parker, Gary Littlejohn, Elijah Littlejohn all of Shelby, Tyrek Pickett of Gastonia, NC and Isaac Pickett, II of Shelby; four brothers, James A. Parker, Terris Parker, Datrome Parker and Forest Ross all of Shelby; four sisters, Shanika Surratt (Zaki), Chelsea Parker, Jessica Ross and Dandia Ross all of Shelby; two grandchildren; friends, Bernardell "Missy" Ross, Frenchelle "Dee Dee" Wilson and Debbie Johnson as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends

The funeral service for Mrs. Pickett will be private. Masks are required. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Good Samaritan Fellowship Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery.
