Tammy Blanton Pruett, age 52, of Laurinburg, NC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at the Morrison Manor in Laurinburg.
Born October 12, 1964 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Brenda Webb Blanton who resides in Shallotte, NC and the late Maxx Blanton. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1982. She worked for Cone Mills-Cliffside Plant for several years and also as a nurse's aide. Tammy will always be remembered as a kind hearted person, who loved to bless others and share the love of God with them. Her life was dedicated to spending time with her children and family, and enjoying God's creations in nature, at the beach.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Donald Pruett; daughter, Maxx Pruett of Laurinburg; son, Shea Wood, and his wife, Ashley Wood of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Bennett and Cayden Wood; and her beloved dog, Trixee Bell.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Harrelson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are respectively requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to someone in need.
