Tammy Conner Glawson, 54, of Clayton, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9pm, on Friday, September 20, 2019, at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US 70 Business Highway West, Clayton, NC 27520.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church, 767 Pinehurst Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040 with the Rev. Mike Conner officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow the service in the Corinth Fellowship Hall.

Tammy was born in Rutherfordton, NC to Roy Wayne and Joan Earley Conner on March 7, 1965. She was a 1985 graduate of Isothermal Community College and a 1983 graduate of Chase High School in Forest City, NC. Tammy married George Scott Glawson on April 22, 1989 in Forest City, NC and gave birth to their beautiful daughter, Jennifer on September 20, 1993. Tammy has worked in the Wake County Public School System for the past thirteen years.

Tammy is survived by her husband, George Scott Glawson, of Clayton; daughter, Jennifer Leigh Glawson, of Greenville, NC; mother, Joan Earley Conner, of Ellenboro, NC; sisters, Suzanne Conner McGuire and husband, Tim, of Mooresboro, NC and Lori Michelle Conner, of Mooresboro, NC; and a brother, Chad Dwayne Conner, of Forest City, NC. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Wayne Conner.
