Cleveland County Bass Club fished High Rock Lake, June 12th for their June tournament.

They almost had the lake to their selves, there was no big federated tournaments that day and the forecast calling for rain kept a lot away. Depending on which part of the lake you were on, you might have fished in the rain. Congratulations to the top Five.

1st place--Roger Beaver--5 fish--13.50 lbs.

2nd place--Tammy Willis Melton--3 fish--9.22 lbs.

3rd place--Richard Mize--2 fish-- 6.28 lbs. He also took big fish of the day with a 5.30 pounder.

4th place--Jimmy Melton--2 fish--5.20 lbs.

5th place--John Rankin--3 fish--4.52 lbs.

The Carolina Bass Club fished Mt. Island Lake, Saturday May 29, 2021. With all the Memorial day weekend festivities they still had 15 anglers show up to fish.

Here are the tournament results.

1st place--The team of Doyle Hudson and Bryan Branch had a 5 fish limit weighing 9.01 pounds.

The team also won the big fish of the day award weighing in a 2.67 lb. largemouth bass..

2nd place--The team of Jimmy Melton and Derek Barkley with a five fish limit that weighed 7.08 pound

3rd place--Dean Ford also with a five fish limit weighing 6.70 pounds. The team of Russell Cook and Roger Clark also with a five fish limit weighing 5.07 pounds. They also won the 2nd big fish of the day award with a 2.31 pounder. Congratulations!
