Teens for Change and Communities In Schools of Cleveland County will be hosting a Cornhole Tournament on Sunday Nov. 20, 2011 at Shelby High School. Registration and warm-ups will begin at 1 pm. Tournament play will begin at 2 pm. Cost is $20 per team or $15 as an individual and we will help you find a partner.
Teens for Change is a youth philanthropy grant board that is a part of Communities In Schools of Cleveland County.  This group of teenagers with a few adult advisors, make decisions about what youth-led proposals get money to turn their positive ideas for action into real solutions for teens in Cleveland County. The board is currently formed for the fourth year. They have monthly meetings to determine which issues to focus on, and to form their RFP, what is philanthropy and how they can make a difference in Cleveland County.
Proceeds support Communities In Schools of Cleveland County’s Teens for Change project.  Teens for Change are youth leaders from across Cleveland County that learn to use their time, talent and treasures to impact their community.
