Teresa Lynn Sailors Human, age 41, died January 1, 2018 at her home. Born in Gaffney, SC on August 16, 1976, she was the daughter of Ronnie Newell and Sandra Manning Sailors of Shelby. She was a member of Way of the Cross Free Will Baptist Church. Teresa was a graduate of Gardner Webb University where she received her degree in nursing. She worked for Rutherford Hospital for 17 years. Teresa loved her cats and riding motorcycles. Teresa is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Katie Manning of Blacksburg and Grady and Ethel Sailors; and an infant son, Sydney.

In addition to her parents, Teresa is survived by four brothers, James Sailors and wife Kim of Lincolnton, Rev. Alan Sailors and wife Michelle of Nebo, Michael Sailors of Gaffney, and Josh Sailors Shelby; three sisters, Donna Bradley and husband Buster of Lincolnton, Patricia Heffner of Newton, and Chasity Rieger and husband Todd of Louisiana; special friend, David Human of Gastonia; and a host of loving nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Way of the Cross Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Mathis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary.
