Terry Dwain Parker, 71, of Casar, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at his home.

Born on June 6, 1955, in Cleveland County, he was the son of Naomi Short Parker of Casar and the late Glenn McKinley Parker. Terry retired from Broyhill Furniture Industries and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, and hunting.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Paige Toney; his brother, Michael Parker; and his sister, Rachel Raina Shaluly.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, John Parker of Casar, Jamie Bumgarner and husband Roger of Golden Valley, Nicole Waters and husband Nathan of Casar, and Kelly Parker of Casar; his brother, Kevin Parker and wife Sonya of Casar; nine grandchildren, Makayla, Abby, Ethan, Dawson, Cole, Nicholas, Amanda, Avery, and Weston; and numerous loving great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Casar.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Jamie Bridges and the Rev. Danny McNeilly officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
