Terry Glenn Freeman

Terry Glenn Freeman, 58, of Earl, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Carolinas ContinueCare Hospital in Pineville. A native of Tacoma, Washington, he was born May 17, 1967 to the late Glenn Freeman and Mary "Mickey" Ruth Moss Freeman.

Terry was a graduate of Crest High School, class of 1985. He served honorably in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Carr. Following his service in the U.S. Navy, he worked for Wilson Engineering & Surveying and later at Folk's Cleaners. Terry was raised as a member of New Hope Baptist Church and later became a member of First Baptist Church in Shelby. He enjoyed golfing, reading, playing video games, listening to music, swimming, playing pranks on family and friends, and traveling to the beach with his family. A dedicated father, Terry helped his son Gage complete his Eagle Scout Project while undergoing treatments.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Judith Wilson Freeman; son, Gage Freeman; and a number of cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Catherine Moss, and Emerson and Ada Freeman; and a number of aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Joy in Terry's memory will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026 in the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Chapel with Reverend Asher Panton officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
