Terry Owens, age 56, of Mooresboro, NC, died Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at his residence.

Terry was born September 25, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Donald William Owens and Barbara Jo Lane Owens. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Methodist faith. Terry worked for Dan River Mill for several years. He enjoyed gemstone hunting and was a collector of various items.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Owens.

Survivors include his daughter, Jade Owens; two sons, Justin Owens, Jordan Owens all of Rutherford County and a brother, Ronald "Keith" Owens of Mooresboro.

A memorial service for Terry will be held on a later date.
