Terry "Wild Turkey" Thompson, age 62, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at his residence from a chronic medical condition.

Terry was born Saturday, March 26, 1960 in Spartanburg to the late Wofford A. Thompson and Betty Painter Thompson. He worked as a diesel mechanic for over twenty years for Johnny K's Truck and Trailer Repair. Terry never met a stranger and was the friend that everyone wanted to have.

Left to cherish fond memories are his daughter, Cheryl Thompson of Mooresboro; son, Adam Thompson (Sheney) of Rutherfordton; brothers, Danny Thompson of Forest City, Bill Thompson of Spartanburg, Timmy Thompson (Debra) of Mooresboro and Perry Thompson of Mooresboro; stepbrothers, Robert Painter and Mike Painter both of Chesnee; stepsister, Wanda Kay Lawson of Chesnee. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Makayla Jordan, Makenzie Jordan, Kelsee Thompson, Levi Thompson and Mason Thompson.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Robbie Painter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
