Shelby High School’s Principal, David Allen, asked his talented art teacher, Kenny Walker, to create a meaningful theme for the message rock at the entrance of student parking lot. Mr. Walker conceived the idea of a student project that would display a positive “school spirit” and proclaim that Shelby is “Lion’s Country “. The result was this painting of a lion’s eye.
