The Master's House Celebrates 7th Anniversary

Brother David Piercy and Love Valley Baptist Church Pastor Barry Philbeck present eleven candidates who now have new lives thanks to "The Master's House" program.
The Master’s House 7th anniversary celebration opened with a resounding rendition of  "Amazing Grace",  led by Love Baptist Church Assistant Pastor Michael Lindsey. It was a most appropriate selection. The existence and success of "The Master's House" at 727 Polkville Road in Shelby is truly an amazing work in progress. The ministry helps to direct men who are down and out become an important part of society and shows them the Christian way of life. Founded by David Piercy, who is now the Executive Director, the Master's House is presently involved in a fundraising drive to finally get their own home with expanded facilities. Thus far, they have raised $22,000. The goal is $100,000. The afternoon of  Saturday, July 28 presented men who now have a new life and direction because of The Master's House. Former residents of the house came from five states. Each person could not say enough about the blessings and help that this program has provided. Most of the participants had lost everything. That's all behind them now. It was a very humble, yet enlightening meeting, to be surrounded by successful and grateful men who once were residents at "The Master's House".
