She embraced her role as a homemaker with grace and dedication, creating a warm and inviting home for her loved ones. Her marriage to the late Charles Cody was a testament to enduring love, and together they built a life filled with shared joys and challenges, their bond strengthening with each passing year until Charles's passing.

Blessed with a large and loving family, Thelma was the cherished mother of Marshal Early and Wanda Cody. She was a guiding light in their lives, instilling in them values of kindness and respect that they carry with them to this day. Thelma's legacy continues through her granddaughter, Thelma Philbeck, and great-grandson, Carson Philbeck, who brought her immeasurable joy. Her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother was one she cherished above all else, and her influence will be felt for generations. She also leaves behind several stepchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, each of whom was touched by her loving presence.
