Thomas Edward Blanton, 68 of Shelby, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Cleveland County, on December 7, 1954, he was the son of the late Edward "Doonie" Blanton and Inez
Fayra Stinchcomb Blanton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Blanton Harkleroad.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Beaver and husband, Dusty of Shelby and Melanie Rogers and fiance, Brian Whitten of Denver; two brothers, Alan Blanton of Shelby and Donald Blanton and three grandchildren, Jared Lee Rogers, Abigail Reagan Beaver and Cooper Jackson Beaver.

Services will be private.
