Thomas Everette Morrison, 68, of Bald Mountain Road, Casar, passed away
Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City.

Born in Cleveland County on December 6, 1948, he was a son of the late Earl
James Morrison and Ethel Francis Bridges Morrison. He was retired from
Standard Crank Shaft, and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Casar.
Tommy also served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Richard
Morrison and granddaughter, Eleanor Morrison.

He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years Mary Beth Hoyle Morrison;
son, Truett Morrison and wife Donna of Burlington; daughter, Trudy Loftis
and husband Michael of Cambodia; two brothers, Donald Morrison and wife
Margaret of Belwood and Jimmy Morrison and wife Diane of Casar;
sister-in-law, Gale Morrison of Lawndale and four grandchildren, Madison
Loftis, Amelia Morrison, Eli Morrison, and Chyanne Kreider; and two great
grandchildren, Nova & Luna.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 4:00 PM at St. Paul Baptist
Church with the Revs. Keith Fulbright and Norris Willis officiating.

The burial will follow service in the church cemetery.
