Thomas Michael Pack

Thomas Michael Pack, age 71, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Atrium Health Cleveland.

Born in Lincolnton on June 8, 1952, he was the son of the late Donald Richard Pack & Frances Lee Rayle. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Ford Pack and a daughter of his heart, Shelley Whaley.

Thomas was a graduate of Shelby High School, class of 1971 and went on to pursue his passion for manufacturing. His career as a master machine & tool maker was marked by his dedication to enhancing the auto parts industry. Mr. Pack's expertise was also sought after by various automotive companies, where he served as a master of his craft. Tommy's hobbies include deep sea fishing, golfing, and Duke basketball. His friends and family consider him a grill master. Mr. Pack's story is one of dedication, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community. He will be deeply missed, but the seeds he planted in the hearts of those who knew him will continue to grow and flourish for generations to come.

Thomas is survived by daughter, Carol Pack and Charles, son, Kenny Pack; brothers, Richard Pack and his wife, Kathy, Buddy Pack and his wife, Sheila, and a sister, Cynthia Pack Hoyle and her husband, Odell. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and two beloved daughters of his heart, Michelle Scruggs and Robin Taylor.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11 o'clock, in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory. The family requested to receive friends at the home of Carol Pack following the service.
