Mr. Thomas Ulysses Walls, 63, of Shelby, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby. He was born in Cleveland County, NC on July 21, 1956 to the late Eddie Walls and Dorothy Hopper Walls.

Thomas was a graduate of Crest High School. He was a U.S. Marine veteran serving for four years. He was also formerly active in the U.S. Army National Guard. After his military service, he was employed with Kemet Electronics for years until their closing. Thomas enjoyed fishing, barbecuing and being around family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Walls.

He is survived by two children, Patrick Walls of Shelby and Tiffany Walls of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Janice Carlton of Gastonia, NC; two brothers, Izeal Walls and Terry Walls (Sheila) both of Shelby; one aunt, Edahlia Hopper (Donald) and one uncle, Jessie Hopper both of Lawndale, NC; nieces, Tequila Carlton, Tori Carlton and Tonya Barringer (Eddie) and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
