Thresia Hoyle Link
Thresia Hoyle Link, 69 of Lincolnton passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 21, 1952 on her family's farm in Casar, NC. She was the only child of the late Ralph Harold Hoyle and Elma Jean Crotts Hoyle. She was a retired cosmetologist.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth Hugh Link of the home; one daughter Kelly Link of Lincolnton; one son, Stuart Link and wife, Sarah of Lincolnton and two grandsons, Slade and Sawyer.
Also left to cherish her memory are her two closest friends: Libby Featherstone of Iron Station and Karla Cooper of Ailey, GA. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for their enduring friendship, love and support.
Besides hosting large Sunday dinners for her family and friends, Thresia was a talented decorator and avid gardener. There wasn't anything she couldn't grow or make beautiful. She was a compassionate and loving soul who was able to sense when people needed help and touched many lives with her generosity. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home in Fallston.
A Private Graveside Service will follow for close friends and family in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery in Casar.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton NC 28658 or to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Ave Ste # 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
